Compliment - a study for couples

Over seven sessions, Complement shines a compelling light on the beauty of marriage as God intends it. Through biblical teaching, storytelling, and real-life examples, Jamie and Aaron Ivey dismantle the distorted cultural views of submission, servanthood, and leadership within a marriage and offer a better view of healthy, godly marriage. In this study, participants will walk through the purpose of marriage as the Scripture relates it and tackle topics such as family mission, sex, leadership, fighting, and forgiveness. Because marriage is meant to not only give life and hope to both husband and wife, but also point the world to Christ.

Comparative Religion

In the Gospel of John, as Jesus was speaking with his disciples, Thomas questioned our Lord by asking how can we know the way? Jesus responded with, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Early Christians were known as followers of the Way. Unfortunately, there are many “ways” of the world; various ways that people have been deceived into following. Jesus clearly stated that He was the only way. He was and is the Truth and He is the only way we can come unto the Father.

In this six week course, we will identify what "religion" is, examine various worldviews, compare and contrast the basic beliefs of major world religions to Christianity and identifying why Jesus Christ IS the Only Way.
