Prayer

How can we be praying for you?

10 Days to Pray for Pentecost

Forty days after Jesus rose from the grave he ascended into heaven. Just before he went up into the clouds to heaven, he told his disciples to wait for the pouring out of the Holy Spirit. For the next ten days, his disciples prayed together and then on the day of Pentecost, they were baptized with the Holy Spirit, a great number of people came to faith and the church was birthed.

This year we’ll be celebrating Pentecost on Sunday, May 23rd. Starting on Friday, May 14th, we’re asking you to join us in prayer for ten days (just like the disciples of Jesus did), asking for the Holy Spirit to fall on us afresh, to give us the power to share the love of Jesus and that the church might multiply.

If interested, contact the church office so you can connect on our Church Center app. This will give you access to see what others are praying about as well as allow you to share your prayers. This app will also allow you to see the specific focus of each day’s prayer.

NOTE: If you were part of our Easter 46 Days of Prayer group, you’re already part of the Praying for Pentecost group.

Also, on Sunday, May 23rd, you can join us for an in-person prayer time thirty minutes before the start of each of our worship services.

Don't freak out. Pray!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7.

One of the best things about being a part of a church family is that you don't have to do life alone. If you have a prayer request or an answer to prayer that you'd like to share with us, simply share it with us below, and we'll be praying for you this week.
