We have a lot of different ministries and life groups for you to join, take a look!
Looking on how to connect on Sunday mornings? Click below to find out more about our church.
Here at The Harbor, we believe that church isn't just something we do on a Sunday, but it extends through our Monday to our Saturday's. If we are not living life together, then we are not living our lives to the fullest.
Connecting to a Life Group gives you the opportunity to:
Each Life Group is unique and has it’s own personality. One thing that’s true for all of them is that they absolutely love meeting together! To make it easy for you to be part of a Life Group, you can choose between three different Life Groups that meet during the week at various times, days, and geographical locations.
If you want to connect to others in our church and really grow in your faith, we encourage you to check out the Life Group that meets nearest you by looking at the list below. Contact the group leader to let them know you're coming!
At the Harbor Church the women’s ministry is all about women - just like you. Our focus is to encourage you as you grow with Jesus and help you connect with other women in our church family. We do this by providing opportunities to share with other women as you go through the seasons of life, studying God’s Word, and coming alongside you to pray when you have a need. Beyond that, we are always ready to simply sit and have a cup of coffee with you.
For other events to be announced, please check this page or the church e-newsletter
And....there is always a cup of coffee waiting for you, to chat or to pray for your needs; just contact Ruth or fill out the form below to arrange a time with her or other Harbor women.
COMING SOON: Morning Bible study, meeting outdoors, details TBA
What is The Forge?
A Place: Where the men of The Harbor Church gather in Christian fellowship (in both large and small groups) to encourage, exhort, and training one another as we seek to grow together in the grace and knowledge of God.
A Process: Where spiritual information can become godly transformation through biblical teaching and intentional, practical application in lives lived together for Christ.
What kind of stuff do you guys do? Whether gathering together for our large semi-monthly Forge Assembly men's breakfasts, getting outside for rappelling adventures, playing pickleball, bible studies or sharing prayer requests and building one another up through smaller Forge Team prayer text groups, there are many ways for you to get more connected in fellowship here at The Harbor Church!
Please contact Eric Towle, Sean Mahoney, Chris Vigneau, Paul Sherman, or Mike Amalfitano for more information, or email us below to get in touch!
"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." 1 Corinthians 16:13
WHO & WHERE?
Refresh is a college and early career group that meets downstairs in the Kid's Club room of The Harbor Church. We are a mix of students (undergraduate and graduate) from colleges including URI, RIC, and CCRI, as well as recent graduates who are early in their careers. From different parts of the state, each of us has been called to come together in fellowship to enjoy time spent together learning more about God and our relationship with him.
WHEN & WHAT?
We meet on Tuesday nights from 7pm to 9pm.
A typical meeting includes dinner, worship, Bible study, and prayer together. Worship and Bible study usually start a little after 7:45, with prayer together closing out close to 9pm.
Should I come? Even if I don’t know much about faith?
Yes!!! All are welcome and encouraged to join, regardless of what background you come from or how much you know about the Bible or faith. One of the aims of the group is to grow in understanding of God’s word and how we can seek God and learn more about him.
Are there events outside of just Tuesday nights?
Yes! We have gone camping, hiked mountains, parties, and many other activities!
